What a week. 💜

Nurses Week 2026 at Billings Clinic Bozeman was filled with laughter, teamwork, appreciation, coffee, community support, bingo battles, snack baskets, four-legged visitors, and a whole lot of gratitude for the incredible nurses who care for our patients every day.

From celebrations and surprises to quiet moments between teammates, this week was a reminder of just how special this group truly is.

To all of our nurses: thank you for the compassion, skill, humor, resilience, and heart you bring into this building every single day. Our patients, families, and community are better because of you.

As Nurses Week comes to a close, we’re continuing to celebrate the incredible nurses who care for patients and families every day at Billings Clinic Bozeman. 💜

Meet Victoria Finch, RN from our Pediatric Department.

Victoria shared that her mom inspired her to become a nurse later in life and helped her realize that it’s never too late to chase your dreams.

Her favorite part of the job?
Collaborating with physicians and teammates to help solve problems for patients and seeing how thankful families are when they can help.

Three words she uses to describe nursing:
Flexible. Challenging. Fulfilling.

What always makes her smile at work?
“The patients! Being a pediatric nurse is so so fun! Kids are always so bright and resilient.”

And what gets her through a shift?
“Coffee, please!” ☕️

For anyone thinking about becoming a nurse, Victoria says:
“Do it!! It will be the best decision you ever make.”

One thing she wishes more people understood?
“That ambulatory nursing can be just as challenging as inpatient nursing. It’s a different kind of hard with a different skill set requirement and should be appreciated more than it is.”

Nurses Week continues at Billings Clinic Bozeman with another incredible member of our team. 💜

Meet Nicole Eastwood, RN from the Surgery Center.

Nicole says she became a nurse because she wanted to help others and was often told she was kind. Today, she brings that compassion and care to patients every single day.

One of her favorite parts of the job on a really good day?
“Successfully starting IVs, especially on hard IV attempts.”

Three words she uses to describe nursing:
Compassionate. Trustworthy. Kind.

And what gets her through a shift?
“LOTS of good teamwork!”

For anyone thinking about becoming a nurse, Nicole says:
“If you are a compassionate, quick-thinking, and empathetic person, it is a rewarding, respected, and stable career!”

One thing she wishes more people knew about nurses?
“To provide quality care, nurses must prioritize their own mental, physical, and emotional health, including taking breaks and finding support.”
