Recently, 32 of our leaders rolled up their sleeves and gave 5 hours each to help ZooMontana with a variety of projects – that’s a total of 160 hours dedicated to giving back!

From pulling weeds across the grounds, to cleaning exhibit windows, to removing worn traction tape near the Buffalo exhibit, these projects help keep the zoo safe and welcoming for visitors and the animals who call it home.

A huge thank you to our leaders for generously giving their time and energy, and to ZooMontana for having us. We’re proud to support our local zoo and invest in the places that make our community such a special place to live, learn and explore.

There has been some confusion on social media and in local news outlets regarding an incident that took place last night. There was not a homicide on the Billings Clinic campus. While a victim did arrive at our Emergency Department in a personal vehicle, the incident itself did not happen here.

Law enforcement had a presence outside our Emergency Department last night as they conducted their investigation, which understandably raised questions and concerns. We want to reassure everyone that there was never any danger to our patients or staff and our operations have continued as normal.

A huge thank you to our Emergency Department teams for their incredible dedication and to our Security team for working alongside Billings Police to keep everyone safe and supported. We will continue to cooperate fully with the Billings Police Department as needed.

We appreciate our community’s trust and understanding.

July is Sarcoma Awareness Month.

Last week, several of our teams participated in Wear Yellow Wednesday for sarcoma awareness and to show support for everyone affected by sarcoma. Sarcoma is a rare cancer that can develop in bones and soft tissues like muscle, fat and nerves. Sarcoma affects people of all ages and can be fatal, but early detection and specialized care make a difference.

The beautiful ribbons our staff wore were made by our incredible team and decorated with sunflowers, the symbol of sarcoma awareness.

We stand with sarcoma patients, survivors, families and researchers working toward better treatments and real breakthroughs for a cure.

We were so proud to celebrate 50 years of lifesaving care at Billings Clinic Emergency & Trauma Center alongside our community. Fans joined us for an evening of fun, cheers, and gratitude — and as a special treat, the Mustangs team handed out signed pennants to lucky fans!

Thank you to everyone who came out last Friday to honor the incredible legacy of our Emergency Department and the dedicated team that’s been here for our region through it all.

We’re incredibly grateful to PacificSource for a generous $200,000 grant, given through Billings Clinic Foundation, to help bring advanced technology to our lung care team at Billings Clinic. Thanks to their support, we’ve added a digital C-arm with Cone Beam CT and a procedure table to our robotic bronchoscopy system – tools that represent a major leap forward in how we detect and diagnose lung conditions.

This new setup gives our doctors real-time, 3D imaging that helps them reach smaller, deeper, and more complex lung lesions with greater accuracy and safety. That means earlier, more precise diagnoses – especially for our oncology patients – and a better chance at starting treatment sooner.

This is a big step in expanding access to cutting-edge care, and we’re proud to keep raising the bar for patients across our region. Thank you to PacificSource for making this possible.

Measles, Mumps, and Rubella vaccines are usually given at 12 months and 4 years but can be given as early as 6 months in certain situations. The first dose provides about 93% protection against the measles virus and second dose brings that up to 97%.
