Recently, a group of Billings Clinic employees and some of their family members braved the rain to clean up Two Moon Park for the 19th annual Yellowstone River Cleanup Day. Together, we collected over 100 pounds of trash — our 19th year cleaning this area, and only the second time we’ve done it in the rain!
We shared laughs, enjoyed each other’s company, and made a big impact by helping improve both the beauty and the health of the river we all treasure.
The Yellowstone River Cleanup is Montana’s largest and longest-running effort of its kind, removing more than 370,000 pounds of trash from the river over the past 19 years. Hosted by partners like Wild Montana, Montana Freshwater Partners, Trout Unlimited, and the Yellowstone River Research Center at Rocky Mountain College, the cleanup is a powerful example of what communities can achieve together.
A huge thank-you to our amazing employees for showing up with heart (and rain jackets!)—and to all who organize this important effort each year.
