Before and After!
We had a question about Chronic idiopathic Uticaria (hives) and thought we’d share a case of a patient who had this for two and a half years, and had taken many types of medications to no avail. The patient also had Crohn’s disease. Within a few sessions he had a dramatic shift in itching and felt better overall, was sleeping well and in addition, his Crohn’s symptoms were better. “Jane” (not her real name) age 73, came to our office for a uterine prolapse she had been suffering with for the last 9 months. She reported a bubble like feeling that was palpable internally, constant and extremely uncomfortable. Though she had not received an official diagnosis, she was a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and as she stated, “I’ve seen enough prolapses to know what one is.”

My diagnosis on her wrist pulses showed her kidney, spleen and liver meridians as unbalanced. This is a typical presentation, as these organ systems correspond to the female organ functions.

My medicine has been treating humans for the 5,000 years. It understands our total life function to be governed by a deep intelligence which is evidenced in the 12 wrist pulses located on the radial artery. Through balancing of the pulses by placing needles on certain meridians, the body naturally heals itself, which her body did in two sessions. The needles I use as a Japanese style acupuncturist are tiny and inserted 1/8 to 1/4 inch on her arms, legs and back on the designated meridians.

I noticed a weakness in the sei ki around below her navel and used moxa to strengthen this area.

After two sessions she was better but I recommended she continue at at least once or twice a month so that she can sustain her active lifestyle and enjoy the beautiful Montana summer!
