We are so proud of and excited for our Intern Alissa who has completed her education at Naropa University and will be staying on with us as our new Professional Counseling Licensure Candidate. She has worked hard over the last few years and grown immensely. We know she will continue to do great things and touch many lives! Congrats Alissa!!!

Common Myths of Therapy for Children. If my child goes to therapy, it means there is something wrong with them: Children, and people of any age, can attend therapy for a variety of reasons. Therapy for children can be a safe environment for children to process their feelings, work on identifying their feelings, and recognizing their inherent strengths and worth. Mental Health Therapy is no different than doing things to take care of one's body, like working out. Learning to flex our social and emotional muscles is an important part of health and wellness. Brianna is here to help you kids get mentally stronger.

Brianna has a couple of after school appointments for child clients! Brianna loves working with kids 8 and older to help them increase emotional intelligence, sooth emotions, increase positive coping behaviors, deal with changes big and small, and have healthier relationships. (to name a few things). She uses play, art and expressive therapies to keep your child engaged!

The team at Breathe Mind Body Therapy completed 25 hours of training in CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia). We are so excited to provide this highly effective and relatively brief therapy to people who are struggling with insomnia.
