We deeply value our partnership with the KidsLINK summer and after-school programs. It’s through these wonderful programs that MMP has the opportunity to teach mindfulness to kids broadly, across the Valley.

We’re standing with GGUW as they navigate federal funding shortages to their summer and after-school programs.

We will continue to bring mindfulness programming to KidsLINK kiddos at no cost to GGUW thanks to our donors and sponsors. We’re grateful for your support to MMP as we remain committed to teaching these lifegiving skills to youth in our schools and community.

Mindfulness doesn’t remove challenges, but it helps us respond to them with more awareness and less reactivity.

In this reflection from our Executive Director and Co-Founder, Margaret Kachadurian, we’re reminded that mindfulness gives us space to notice how we’re feeling, how we’re coping, and how we want to move forward.

That space can make all the difference.

Stress is a natural part of life—but when it becomes overwhelming, it can affect our ability to learn, connect, and show up fully.

Mindfulness helps students and educators recognize what’s within their control—and practice letting go of what isn’t.

Through breath, awareness, and curiosity, we begin to meet stress with choice instead of reactivity.

This is one way we help build calmer classrooms and more resilient communities.

Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone who came together to support us during Give Big last month. MMP was honored to land #10 out of 80 nonprofits on the Give Big 2025 leaderboard—with support from 97 donors. We’re grateful for each and every one of you who showed up to support more opportunities to grow seeds of kindness and mindfulness in the Gallatin Valley and across the state.

To our followers, partners, sponsors, donors and collaborators—and the many people who share in our mission—our hearts are warmed knowing we have your support. Here’s to growing a kinder world, together. Cheers!

This is one of our favorite reminders from Jon Kabat-Zinn.

When we’re caught in worry about what’s ahead—or replaying what’s behind—we can miss what’s happening right now.

A moment of mindfulness brings us back to the present, where value and meaning begin. Take a breath; take in the texture of the moment.

Mindfulness isn’t about clearing your mind or being perfectly calm. It’s simply the practice of paying attention—on purpose, in the present moment, with kindness.

That might mean pausing to notice your breath, how your body feels, or the way your thoughts come and go.

We practice building awareness, and with awareness, we build choice.
