Montana Association for the Education of Young Children Conference Goodies:
In our session we had the privilege of connecting with just over 30 early educators from across the state — together representing an astounding 524 years of experience in the field!
During our closing two-word check-out, participants shared how they were feeling: inspired, prepared, excited, motivated, connected, grateful, calm, relaxed, and equipped — just to name a few.
One participant shared that the grounding guided meditation at the start of our time together was the first moment her nervous system had truly felt rest since sustaining a traumatic brain injury months prior that had prevented her from moving into a rest state—a powerful reminder of the importance of mindfulness practices in our work and our lives.
Another expressed gratitude for the tangible takeaways and tools that could be implemented immediately upon returning to the classroom Monday morning.
Many participants also voiced enthusiasm for continuing their learning with MMP, saying they’re eager to join upcoming virtual offerings for early educators.
We’re deeply grateful for the passion, dedication, and heart these educators bring to their work — and honored to be part of their ongoing professional and personal journey!
