Our Story

Rootstock Acupuncture, LLC, located in Bozeman, Montana, is owned and operated by longtime resident and Licensed Acupuncturist Angie Kociolek.

Angie’s first career was in conservation biology, most recently employed at Montana State University as a research scientist. Focusing on ways to reduce the impacts of human activities on wildlife populations was rewarding. Still, Angie felt the pull to work more with people - face to face and in real time. She knew her next career would be as a therapeutic health care provider. Angie is now on the journey of lifelong learning as a holistic practitioner of acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

Rootstock clients are men, women and teens with a wide variety of physical and mental-emotional conditions, including pain. Angie has special interests in enhancing fertility in couples, supporting the aging process on all levels, and calming stress and anxiety.

Rootstock Acupuncture is a strong community supporter. We offer a pro bono clinic in partnership with Cancer Support Community Montana. Angie is also the volunteer peer leader for the Resolve Bozeman Infertility support group which meets once a month.
