We’re thrilled to share that Rie Hargraves was named Home Visitor of the Year at the annual statewide home visiting conference — the very first recipient of an award newly named in honor of our dear colleague Patty Peterson, who passed away last December. Patty would be so proud to see Rie receive this recognition.
As John Gregory shared:
“Rie was hired at the birth of Community Health Partners and has served this organization longer than anyone else. She’s led behavioral health groups, parenting classes, early childhood coalitions, and trained every home visitor since the program began 13 years ago. Rie models mindfulness, compassion, and resilience — qualities she teaches every day. She has an incredible gift for seeing families’ strengths and guiding them toward change. After 28 years, she still shows up with fire in her belly and love in her heart. Rie sets an impossible example to follow — but one worth striving toward.”
