Staying active is crucial; aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week to strengthen your heart. 🏃‍♀️
Eating well means incorporating plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins into your diet, while also reducing salt and sugar intake. 🥗
Quality sleep is vital—strive for 7-9 hours per night to recharge your body and mind. 😴
Avoid smoking, as it significantly increases the risk of heart disease.
Lastly, managing stress through mindfulness, meditation, or hobbies can help keep your heart healthy. 🧘‍♂️

February 7th-14th is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week! Join us in raising awareness about congenital heart defects (CHD), the most common birth defect affecting infants. Each year, approximately 40,000 babies are born with a heart defect in the United States alone, which represents about 1% of all newborns. This week is an important opportunity to educate ourselves and others about CHD, the challenges faced by those affected, and the importance of early detection and intervention. Together, we can foster a community that supports families and advocates for better health outcomes for all. Let's spread the word and make a difference!

National Patient Recognition Week in February celebrates our gratefulness for being able to serve you! 🧡 This special week is dedicated to honoring the trust you place in us as your healthcare providers. Caring for our communities, one person at a time, is at the heart of what we do. In 2025, we had an incredible 34,140 visits and saw a total of 7,881 patients!
