October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer. Remember, early detection can save lives!

Here are some essential guidelines to help you detect breast cancer early:
1. Take a few moments each month to perform a self-exam. Familiarize yourself with how your breasts normally look and feel. If you notice any changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to your healthcare provider.
2. Make sure to schedule an annual check-up with your doctor. They can provide professional assessments that may go beyond what you can do at home.
3. Regular mammograms are crucial for women over 40 or those at higher risk. These screenings can detect breast cancer before symptoms arise, making them a vital part of preventive care.

Let’s work together to spread awareness and encourage our loved ones to take proactive steps for their health! 😁

New Blog post to check out! Which vaccines are required to attend school in Montana?

Montana requires five core immunizations for school that protect against serious and dangerous diseases:

- Haemophilus influenza Type B (Hib)
- Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTaP/Tdap)
- Polio (IPV or OPV)
- Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
- Varicella "Chickenpox" (Var)
