Both of our incubators stopped working last night and killed all 200 potential birds. It was a terrible coincidence that both stopped working. They were in lockdown (the final couple days). This part of farming hurts so bad. I feel terrible for them. I wish I could have done something, but I had no idea it happened. When I build my own incubator, it will have a smart sensor to alert me of something like this. I could not save them, but I will not let this happen again. RIP baby birdy friends. I'm so sorry.

We need to put a heat wire under our rolling gate to keep it clear in the coming months. My idea is to trench out a few inches, lay down the heat wire and fill over it with sand. What do y'all think?
