There was a time when everyday tasks felt impossible. Severe sciatica pain left me unable to move freely, and old habits had taken a toll on my health. Moving
my family to Florida gave me a fresh start, and I slowly rebuilt my life with Pilates, water aerobics, better eating habits, and small achievable goals.
A year later, I healed my pain, lost 40 lbs, and kept it off – one small step at a time.
If you’re struggling with your health, know that change is possible. I’d love to help guide you on your own journey. Send me a message to learn more about
working together 💛💌

It’s an investment in more energy to enjoy your mornings, a calmer mood in stressful times, and a stronger body to carry you through the years ahead. 🌱
The value of feeling good every day? That’s priceless. 💕

Here’s the thing: sugar isn’t just in desserts. It hides in everyday foods that are marketed as “healthy” — and that can make it tricky to manage cravings, energy, and long-term health. 🍭🚫
Flavored oatmeal packets, salad dressings, and granola bars are some of the biggest culprits. What looks like a nourishing choice can actually sneak in as much sugar as a candy bar. Once you start looking at labels, you’ll be shocked
at how many products have it added under names like syrup, fructose, or concentrate.
This doesn’t mean you need to give up convenience foods — just learn to spot the hidden sugar and make swaps that support your health goals. A little awareness goes a long way. 🌱
📩 If you feel stuck with hidden sugar sabotaging your health goals, send me a DM — I can help you find simple swaps that work for you.

There’s something beautiful about the idea of beginning again. We often think new chapters are reserved for a new year, a new month, or a perfect moment
— but the truth is, fresh starts are always available to us. You don’t need to change everything at once. You don’t even need to wait for the “right time.”
Starting fresh could mean trying a hobby you’ve always been curious about, exploring a new place in your neighborhood, picking up that book you leftunfinished, or simply giving yourself permission to slow down and rest.
New beginnings are about growth, curiosity, and the courage to try again.
So here’s your gentle reminder: it’s never too late to do something new. 🌿✨

Choosing a healthy snack doesn’t need to be confusing or overwhelming. One of the easiest ways to feel more confident about your choices is by learning how to read a nutrition label.
Instead of focusing only on calories, shift your attention to the quality of the ingredients, the amount of protein and fiber, and how much added sugar is included. These small details tell you so much more
about how that food will make you feel.
The good news? There are plenty of options in regular grocery stores that are balanced, nourishing, and easy to grab when you’re busy.
Today, I’m sharing three of my favorites that you can actually find on the shelves. Because when it comes to your health, small swaps truly add up.

Meet Patty McGee RN, BSN Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach
I opened my health coaching practice in 2018 after a 30+ year career working as a masters prepared registered nurse and healthcare administrator. I redirected my passion and lifelong desire to help people understand their bodies, prevent or reverse chronic and autoimmune disease, and navigate their cancer diagnosis and treatment plan. My programs include Women’s Wellness, Men’s Mid-life Wellness, Couples Wellness, Nurse Navigator, Medication/Supplement Review, Grocery Store Tours, and Kitchen Cleanout.
How I got the idea to start my health coaching practice.
For years I’ve wanted to own my own business providing services to my local community. My approach to health and wellness is non-conventional. I teach people the value of real whole food and a well balanced lifestyle in order to decrease inflammation and heal themselves of chronic and autoimmune disease.
What makes me different?
My personal healing story based on the tenets of whole food eating and functional medicine, along with my extensive knowledge of conventional medicine makes me uniquely qualified to educate my clients so they can make informed decisions about their own healing journey.
My journey.
I am most proud of my own personal journey and transformation. Through the use of a real whole food diet, exercise, and decreasing stress, I have completely reversed my hypothyroidism, stopped taking synthetic hormones, lost more than 30 lbs and live a full and happy life. I am looking forward to a successful 2nd career and years of joy and happiness with my three children and husband, Greg.
If I weren’t doing this, I’d...
I would open a retail store that sells the hundred’s of health-related products I have researched and believe in.
