🌼 Today we rembered all the residents we lost this past year at our annual Celebration of Life. Our kitchen staff prepared a feast for us to enjoy while we listened to Chaplain Ed give a lovely sermon. He then read off each residents name and had their picture on the big screen so we could say our final goodbyes. 🌼

Although these residents are gone, they are not forgotten. They live on through those that remember them. ❣️

🍁The residents LOVED our Fall Farmers Market!🍁

They were able to shop around for goodies provided by our helpers Home Helpers Home Care of Bradenton, Southwest Florida Homecare and Empath Tidewell Hospice! We also had some goodies provided by our kitchen staff!

Some of the items the residents were able to grab were homemade soap, fresh flowers, homemade baked goods, jam, honey, pickles, lemonade and fresh fruit! 🧼 🌼 🍪 🥧 🍯 🥒 🍋 🍎

🇺🇸Happy Veterans day!🇺🇸

We had a great afternoon honoring those who served our country. We had a luncheon, a Silver Stars skit, a pinning ceremony, a certificate passed out by Home Helpers Home Care of Bradenton and a trumpet performance.

Thank you to all the veterans for your service and sacrifice. Thank you for your bravery, hard work and dedication to our country. We are the land of the free because of the brave! ❤️🤍💙

Dr. Karen Truman led an informative seminar for our residents and guests over the weekend - guests received a free book and list of resources for caregivers.

As we get ready for Veterans Day, we remember those who cannot be here with us. We have an Honor Table set up in our Keys building, Isles building and the Town Center to remember those we lost. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

🎶 The Joyful Sound choir at FBC Palmetto is amazing!! 🎶

The residents loved hearing the beautiful, melodic voices of this huge choir! One resident felt so compelled by the music, she joined in on the choir for a day! Thank you again for bringing this great group to our Keys and Isles buildings.

At Water’s Edge of Bradenton we celebrated Sunday Funday today !!! Residents were given the royal treatment with music, makeovers, photos and food !!
