We have been showering our residents and staff with love, appreciation and gifts all week! From ice cream floats to a candy cart. Last week we wrapped up our Carnival theme in the Keys building with a caricature artist 🎨 the residents loved getting their portraits drawn and were talking about their funny portraits all day long!

💖👴🏻👵🏼 Happy Grandparents day! 👵🏼👴🏻💖

Today we had a lovely tea party in honor of grandparents day. The residents and their families enjoyed tea, a variety of finger foods and they even got to wear fancy tea hats! Everyone had a great time and they loved the decor! 🌸🌷🌺

Betty has always had a great sense of humor so this year, her family surprised her by dressing up as monkeys! Betty celebrated her 95th birthday surrounded by her family, all 4 generations shown! 💖💖💖💖

Our residents are so ✨TALENTED✨

This past week we held a Resident Arts and Crafts Show and Sale and it was spectacular! The residents were able to showcase their beautiful creations while enjoying piano music and a lovely cheese and cracker display from our kitchen.

🪄 Last week we were mesmerized by the not-so honest The Honest Magician! 🪄
He showed us a variety of tricks that had our residents oooing and ahhing! He even showed several of the residents some close up magic and they still couldn’t figure it out! All of the residents and even some staff were laughing and captivated by his great performance. Check the comments for some videos of his tricks!

🎪Welcome to the Big Top Carnival! 🎪

Today we had a blast at the carnival in our keys building! Assisted Living and Memory Care residents enjoyed an ice cream truck, several games, temporary tattoos, popcorn, and fair foods provided by our kitchen!

A big thank you to Southwest Florida Homecare, Home Helpers Home Care of Bradenton, Empath Tidewell Hospice, Affinity Care Hospice, and Trilogy Home Healthcare Sarasota/PC for doing the games as well as serving the popcorn. Thank you to Carousel's Soft Serve Icery for bringing the ice cream and our staff for helping with some of the games!

The residents and staff can’t stop talking about all the fun they had at our carnival. 🎡🎠🎪

Our residents have been soooooooo busy it’s hard to keep up with everything!

The Isles residents enjoyed a fantastic watercolor class and a visit from Susan with Sarasota Butterflies where they got to learn about and release some butterflies! 🦋

Then the keys residents enjoyed a trip to Cracker Barrel and a visit from World of ChuckO that went perfectly with our carnival theme for the month of August! 🤡
