Love to see our Doctors partnering with young athletes in the community to educate and help them better understand their bodies in hopes to prevent injuries and improve athletic performance. Dr. Christian Womeldorph will also be at all home games as the onsite Sports Physician for .

Wellness Concepts partners with Florida Premier FC SWFL to provide free injury prevention training and services to soccer players.

Thank you Braden River Soccer Club for inviting us to be apart of your incredible season kickoff family night!⚽️🥅 It was a wonderful way to meet and mingle with some of the parents, players & coaches that we are going to be working with throughout the season!

Our team is very excited to have Dr. Christian Womeldorph as the onsite sports physician at all of the home games for . We will be providing on site triage, Stretching/Manual Therapy, Normatec Compression Therapy and Functional Movement Assessments to the players!

Help us welcome Dr. Christian to our Wellness Concepts team, we are thrilled to have him here!😊🎉

Dr. Christian Womeldorph was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida where he attended school and played soccer at IMG Academy. During this time, he earned a scholarship to play for Wofford College’s Division 1 soccer team and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He began seeing a chiropractor for injuries and aches he had sustained throughout his athletic career, noticing immense relief and great results. It was then that he realized he wanted to leave the field of accounting and pursue a career in chiropractic, where he could use his experience in athletics to help those suffering from pain and various injuries. Dr. Womeldorph received his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Pinellas Park, Florida where he was a member of the school’s Sports Council and Motion Palpation Institute. Dr. Womeldorph was also awarded 2nd place in the Tom Hyde Sports Research Poster Contest by the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council for his research about functional ankle instability and its relationship to athletic injuries. He is certified in Active Release Technique (ART®) and is working towards completing his Dry Needling certification and license as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®).

Dr. Womeldorph believes chiropractic care is much more than adjusting joints - as it is crucial to address the myofascial and musculoskeletal system and how it contributes to pain. He has a passion for not only treating athletes, but any person who desires improved functional movement, mobility, and overall quality of life. Nowadays, Dr. Womeldorph practices and competes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, playing chess, and watching sports.
