Today is GME Professionals Day, and we have two of the best right here at Blake! Thank you to our Residency Program Coordinators Rachel Tillman and Robie Becker (aka R&R) for keeping our residency programs running smoothly and efficiently. Program coordinators are the first folks that new residents meet when they begin their residency program, and the last one they see when walking out the door with their diploma. Oh, and it doesn’t stop there!!! If you see them today, please take a moment to thank them for their tireless behind the scenes work to ensure the success of our medical students, residents, and faculty!

Happy First Day!!

We are excited to welcome 40 new residents to Blake Medical Center’s Graduate Medical Education program (GME)! Our residents are mentored by a dynamic network of physicians focused on teaching to provide exceptional, compassionate and quality care. Our Internal Medicine, Transitional Year and Infectious Disease GME programs are led by an accomplished faculty, set under rigorous standards, and tailored to provide extensive training for the next generation of physician leaders.

Dear Residency Candidate:

Thank you for your interest in the Graduate Medical Education Programs at Blake Medical Center. We are ACGME accredited for:

Internal Medicine Residency – 45 positions

Transitional Year Residency – 13 positions

We begin taking applications via ERAS when the season opens and stop reviewing applications in late January. We conduct interviews between late October and late January.
