Before you raise a toast this New Year… let’s talk heart health. 💚 Did you know that heavy or binge drinking during the holidays can sometimes trigger heart rhythm issues, even in people without heart disease? Symptoms like a racing heartbeat, dizziness, or shortness of breath shouldn’t be ignored. Celebrate smart, drink in moderation, and listen to your body. If something doesn’t feel right, seek care right away. Your heart works hard for you every day — this holiday season, show it a little love too. 💚

Not all medical situations need the emergency room — and knowing the difference can save you time, stress, and even money. 💰 At Manatee Memorial, we want you to feel confident about your care choices:

🏥 Urgent Care is great for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries — like minor cuts, sprains, fevers, sore throats, or infections — especially when your doctor isn’t available. It can be quicker and more affordable than a trip to the ER.

🚨 Emergency Room care is best for serious, potentially life-threatening conditions — such as chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, head injuries, or signs of a stroke. The ER is open 24/7 and equipped for critical care when every minute counts.

💡 When in doubt or facing a possible emergency, don’t wait — head to the ER or call 911. Your health and safety come first. Learn more about when to choose Urgent Care vs. the ER on our blog here: http://spklr.io/61868EXQy.
