Tag a friend you’re thankful for and share this delicious recipe with them! 🍞✨ This Gingerbread Loaf with Cranberry-Orange Glaze is the perfect festive treat to enjoy with loved ones.
Ingredients:
For loaf:
8 scoops Formula 1 Pralines and Cream
6 scoops Protein Baked Goods Mix
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup low-fat milk
1 medium very ripe banana
2 TBSP brown sugar
2 TBSP molasses
3 eggs
3 TBSP vegetable oil
For glaze:
1 scoop Protein Drink Mix Vanilla
1 TBSP Herbal Aloe Concentrate Mandarin
1 TBSP Herbal Aloe Concentrate Cranberry
Finely grated rind from one medium orange
Instructions:
For loaf:
Add 8 scoops of Formula 1 Pralines and Cream, 6 scoops of Protein Baked Goods Mix, ½ scoop of all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. ground ginger, 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1 tsp. ground nutmeg, 1 tsp ground cloves, and 1 tsp. of baking soda to a medium bowl and stir.
Add ¾ cup of low-fat milk, banana, 2 TBSP of brown sugar, 2 TBSP of molasses, 3 eggs and 3 TBSP of vegetable oil to blender and blend until smooth.
Pour the blended ingredients over the dry ones and stir with a spatula until all dry ingredients are incorporated.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with nonstick pan spray, or wipe generously with oil.
Scoop batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Tent the top of the loaf with a small piece of foil to prevent it from getting too brown and continue baking for another 25 minutes. Confirm the loaf baked properly by checking if a toothpick inserted into the loaf is dry when you pull it out and the top springs back when lightly touched with your finger.
Let the loaf cool in pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a baking rack to cool completely.
For glaze:
Add 1 scoop Protein Drink Mix Vanilla, 1 TBSP Herbal Aloe Concentrate Mandarin, 1 TBSP Herbal Aloe Concentrate Cranberry, and finely grated orange rind to a small bowl and stir together.
Drizzle over cooled loaf.
If glaze seems too thick, stir in additional Herbal Aloe Concentrate Mandarin and Herbal Aloe Concentrate Cranberry a few drops at a time until the right consistency is reached.
Makes 12 generous slices.
