❤️ Setting a New National Record, Right Here in Bradenton! ❤️

Manatee Memorial Hospital has set a national record — our Cardiac Catheterization Department successfully performed 10 mitral TEER (Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair) procedures in a single day, the most ever reported in the U.S., according to Abbott Laboratories. This minimally invasive procedure helps patients with leaky heart valves recover faster and get back to living their lives.

The milestone was made possible thanks to the skill of cardiologists Dr. Alessandro Golino, Dr. Gino Sedillo, and Dr. Eugene Parent, and our incredible Cath Lab and anesthesia teams. Their collaboration continues our legacy of pioneering minimally invasive heart care that shortens recovery times and improves patient outcomes. 👏
