So honored to have been nominated for the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce Women Empowering Women, Women of the Year. I proudly lost to another incredible Venice leader in our community. Christine Griffith, co owner of James Griffith Salons https://www.jamesgriffithsalon.com/about was the 2024 recipient of this esteem award. Christine and her husband opened in 1988 in Venice, Florida and they now have 3 locations with over 50 employees. She is a true leader in our community and has been empowering women since 1988!

The James Griffith Salon opened in Venice, Florida - August 1, 1988, as an AVEDA Concept Salon. Next came their partnership with The Gasparilla Inn & Club in Boca Grande, Florida, opening a second salon, then expanding with a third location in Sarasota, Florida in 2008.
