Kathy's remarkable journey with the hospital and now the Pavilion is a shining testament to her unwavering dedication. At the beginning of her nursing career she spent many years as a maternity nurse, touching the lives of countless new moms with her compassion and care. Now many years later she is caring for the elderly with the same love and devotion, inspiring all those around her. There is a special reason they say dogs are a person's best friend. Whether she’s rocking her festive red hoodie for a visit or offering a gentle head to pet, Ginger Snap has a natural gift for knowing exactly who needs a little extra love.
While she isn't a "certified" therapy dog just yet, that is the big dream we are working toward! ✨ Seeing her participate in these moments and connect so deeply with our seniors proves she’s already a professional at heart. To her, age and mobility don't matter—all she sees is a friend who needs a smile.
She is the ultimate bridge between generations, proving that a little bit of canine companionship is truly the best medicine there is. 🩺💖
