Wheel Yoga Fundamentals
with Dov (Yogi Varuna)
Saturday, February 28 | 4–6 PM

This two-hour workshop explores the yoga wheel as a precise tool for improving spinal mobility, thoracic extension, shoulder mechanics, and core integration.

Modern posture (driving, screens, sitting) often limits thoracic extension and shoulder flexion. The yoga wheel provides structured, supported feedback along the spine, helping you:

• Restore healthy extension through the thoracic spine
• Decompress and mobilize the vertebral column
• Strengthen deep core stabilizers during controlled backbending
• Improve scapular mobility and shoulder overhead range
• Develop safer mechanics for poses like Wheel (Urdhva Dhanurasana), Dropbacks, and other heart openers

Rather than forcing flexibility, this workshop focuses on intelligent load, muscular engagement, and breath-supported expansion. You will learn how to create space without collapsing into the lumbar spine, how to distribute extension evenly, and how to build strength to support mobility.

Expect clear anatomical cueing, progressive sequencing, and hands-on refinements.

This workshop is appropriate for students with a regular yoga practice - all levels of experience - who want to deepen their understanding of mechanics and sustainable movement.

Soul Movement

Soul Movement is an invitation to meet your body in a way that’s less about poses or choreography—and more about sensation, curiosity, and freedom.

Blending guided improvisational movement, meditation, and imaginative prompts, this class encourages you to listen inward and follow what your body wants to do moment by moment. We explore fluidity and strength, ease and effort, rhythm, weight, and instinct—moving in ways that feel nourishing, expressive, and alive.

Rather than focusing on how movement looks, Soul Movement centers on how it feels. There’s no right or wrong, no mirrors, and no pressure to perform—just space to expand your range of motion, release held energy, and experience the quiet catharsis of being fully in your body.

Movement can be deeply regulating, clarifying, and healing. This is a space to shake off the week, reconnect to yourself, and move in a way that supports your nervous system and overall wellbeing.

Please bring socks (grippy or cozy) so you can move comfortably and explore.

And most of all would a beautiful massive Sewing of community gathering in song, with goodness, wellness and love. This was a really special way to enter the solstice, gathering as light returns to the earth. Looking forward for more to come. :-)

We’ll unwind the nervous system with gentle qi gong, self-massage, and ocean-moon inspired flows, then drop into a nourishing sound bath and guided meditation.

You’ll leave feeling grounded, clear, and replenished.

• Soft, flowing movement to open energetic pathways

• Sound healing with gongs + crystal bowls

in the Spirit of “Prema Hara” — a Loving Reunion

Keshavacharya, part of the duo Prema Hara, is devoted to the sacred practice of kirtan. Deeply rooted in the bhakti tradition, his path is one of love and devotion, where every song becomes an offering to the Divine Beloved.

Kirtan is far more than music — it is a living prayer, a bridge between the human heart and the eternal Artist of the universe. For over two decades, Keshavacharya has carried this sacred practice across the world, sharing it as a medicine of joy, healing, and remembrance. Through the chanting of the holy names, he invites all who gather to rest in the sweetness of devotion, to dissolve into the collective vibration of love, and to touch the stillness and beauty within.

His vision is simple yet profound: to create spaces where voices unite, hearts open, and souls remember their eternal connection to the Supreme.
