First thing I want to say is, thank you to the clients who’ve shown up on my journey and helped me find my passion for healing others. The clients who are truly uplifting and the sole reason why I love my job!
With that being said, over the past few months several incidents were recorded that attempted to make me feel unsafe at my own business. These were people very close to me-the ones that pretended to aid in my success. Naturally, when exposure happens-the person truly affected has to reroute their life. I’ve took the necessary steps to do so.
I’m happy to say:
Helping Hands will remain OPEN!
Referral base ONLY (current client of mine, physician, or PT)
Things to know moving forward:
1. My business is under video surveillance 100% of the time. When you enter, you’re on camera. When you leave, you’re on camera and I will ask you how your session was. I will also ask you if you felt safe and appropriate during your session.
2. I will not take anyone under 18. This is for safety of others. I do not want to be responsible for a minor due to the actions of others surrounding my business.
3. If I don’t feel comfortable, I will not take you on as a client. Simple as that. I work solely alone and I will choose the clients that feel safe to work with. Unfortunately, I will not take any clients connected to certain business or people who were creating unnecessary drama in MY business.
4. I am a clinical massage therapist so I am taking on clients who have previous injuries, chronic pain, or need help figuring out why they’re in pain constantly without any answers from doctors. I am targeting a certain clientele because the work that I do is much more than just relaxing. I have helped people regain their life by feeling better in their body.
I have withstood a lot.
I will not abandon my business. 🥰
Here’s to change 💝
