UNACCOMPANIED VETERAN BURIAL
Recently, one unaccompanied Veteran was laid to rest with full honors at the Texas Veteran Cemetery, whose ceremony saw more people than one might expect in this particular situation. Retired United States Air Force Staff Sergeant Kenneth White Jr. served for 20 years as a civil engineer in the military, and despite having no next of kin, had many Veterans and civilians in attendance at his funeral.

Tomorrow (Wednesday), we have the honor of escorting SSgt. Kenneth White, USAF Ret. to the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Mr. White served over 20 years in the Air Force. He is classified as an unaccompanied veteran as no family has been able to be located. The Leatherwood Family is proud to be able to provide the services to honor this veteran.
