Today, we’re celebrating two wonderful members of our Silver Maple family—one from our incredible team and one from our vibrant resident community!

💙 Mae – Caregiver
Since 2005, Mae has been a valued part of Silver Maple, known for her compassion, dedication, and genuine care. She’s always attentive to residents’ needs and consistently shows up for both staff and residents with a heart full of kindness. Her laughter, teamwork, and flexibility make every day brighter.

💙 Susan “Suzy” – Resident
Suzy fills Silver Maple with her quick wit, humor, and warmth. She loves painting and knitting, enjoys potatoes (but not meat!), and never misses a chance to shine at Bingo—where she’s known as one of the best! Her favorite days are when Matt brings the puppies, which light up her spirit even more.

Mae and Suzy represent the heart of Silver Maple—compassion, laughter, and a true sense of community. 🧡

Today we’re celebrating two very special people who make Silver Maple Residence shine—one from our amazing staff and one from our wonderful community of residents!

👩‍💼 Staff Highlight: Linda McQuaid
Linda has been part of Silver Maple since 2022 and plays a big role in activities, outings, and appointments. She’s known for her caring heart, flexibility, and dedication to making sure residents have what they need while keeping them happy and engaged. Whether it’s taking residents shopping, sharing a laugh, or playing games, Linda’s kindness and humor truly enrich daily life at Silver Maple. Fun fact—her favorite hobby is crafting, and she admits she’s actually an introvert who pushes herself to be outgoing!

👨‍🦳 Resident Highlight: Joe
Joe has called Silver Maple home for 6 years, and he brings joy and laughter to everyone around him. With a great sense of humor and a love for trying new things, Joe brightens the lives of both staff and fellow residents. He enjoys fishing, eating steak and chicken, and most of all, being a proud grandpa. Joe’s cheerful spirit reminds us why community is at the heart of Silver Maple.

We’re so grateful for both Linda and Joe—two people who help make Silver Maple Residence such a special place to call home. 💙

Lisa has been part of our Silver Maple family for 13 years! Her quiet and kind nature brings joy not only to her fellow residents, but also to our staff. She truly helps make Silver Maple feel like home.
