Quick check-in: Have you ever caught yourself holding your breath during a workout? 👀

It’s something so many of us do without even realizing it.

Your breath and pelvic floor are meant to work together—when you hold your breath, it can put extra pressure where you don’t want it.

💡 Try this: Gently exhale during the hardest part of the movement

It’s a small shift, but it can make a big difference in how your body feels.

MYTH: Do Kegels.
FACT: Not everyone needs Kegels.

Sometimes your pelvic floor is too tight—not weak.
The key? Proper evaluation + personalized treatment. There’s no one-size-fits-all in pelvic health.

“Your body isn’t broken—it’s asking for support.” 💛

Pelvic floor issues are common… but not something you have to just live with. You deserve to feel strong, confident, and in control.

STOP doing endless crunches for core strength 🚫
START connecting to your deep core + pelvic floor ✅

Your pelvic floor is part of your core system. When it’s not working well, crunches can actually make things worse.

💡 Try: Breath + gentle engagement (we can show you how!)

Stronger doesn’t mean tighter; it means coordinated.

“Why Do I Feel So Tight Down There?”

If you feel tension, pressure, or even difficulty starting a urine stream…
It might not be weakness.

Sometimes pelvic floor muscles are actually too tight, not too weak.

This can cause:
• Pelvic pain
• Tailbone pain
• Pain with sitting
• Pain with intimacy
• Constipation

And doing more Kegels can actually make it worse.

Pelvic physical therapy helps by:
✔️ Gently assessing muscle tension
✔️ Teaching relaxation and breathing strategies
✔️ Using hands-on techniques to reduce tightness
✔️ Retraining proper coordination

Many women feel relief simply from understanding what’s happening in their bodies.

If something feels tense or uncomfortable, your body may just need guidance — not more effort. 💛

“That Heavy Feeling Isn’t Nothing”

If you feel a heaviness or pressure in your pelvis at the end of the day…
Or like something just doesn’t feel quite right…

Please don’t ignore it.

Early support can make a meaningful difference.

Pelvic physical therapy can improve muscle support, reduce symptoms, and help you stay active without fear that things will worsen.

Most women tell us the biggest relief is simply being heard and understood.

You deserve to feel supported — literally and emotionally. 💛

🌿 Pain With Intimacy Shouldn’t Be Ignored.”
This is something many women don’t talk about.

If intimacy feels painful, tense, or uncomfortable, it can affect more than just your body; it can affect your confidence and relationships, too.

Pain is your body’s way of asking for attention. It is not something you should “push through.”

Pelvic physical therapy can gently address muscle tightness, scar tissue, and coordination issues in a respectful and private environment.

Most importantly, you are treated with dignity and care.

You are not alone in this — and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. 💛
