Wow - it has been almost 2 1/2 years that we have been dealing with COVID. At this time we want people to know that the meds for COVID work - test early and get treated to prevent severe disease and hospitalization. Too many patients don't know oral meds exist now. We have come such a long way!!

The vaccines are helping us win the fight against COVID - please go and get yours soon. Unfortunately the vast majority of those getting ill now are the unvaccinated. Seeing that in the hospitals, and the office both.

We are open tomorrow for all of you who are off and may have seen a few friends over Superbowl Weekend - if you were exposed - get tested -
Timing is everything with this disease the earlier the better to find out and to get treated - yes treated - if you qualify there are treaments available - but you have to know that you are in need. Call 908 685 8080 or 908 526 8300 and get an appointment. The rapid test is very reliable and 97% accurate.

If you don't feel well - get a test - isolate - quarantine - stop the spread. If you were exposed - stay home and get a test on day 5-7 to prevent a false negative test. WE collectively are the best defense and offense until we can all be vaccinated.

The vaccine is proving to be very safe and effective -
If you have had the disease you will not be protected against the UK or the South African variant of the virus. You will need to be vaccinated. The mRNA vaccines are proving to be the answer for now. Hopefully the Oxford/Astra Zenica and J&J vaccines prove to be just as effective and then we can really ramp up the vaccinations.

We are 11 months into this - if you don't feel well, do not think it is nothing, get a test. There is no such thing as a sniffle without a test - you may be contagious. Testing is generally covered by insurance and it is better to know than to guess.

New Jersey will roll out COVID-19 vaccines in a phased approach to all adults who live, work, or are being educated in the State. Within six months, New Jersey aims to vaccinate 70 percent of the adult population.
