People born before 1958 considered immune from having had Measles. After that, we vaccinated. The original vaccine was inactivated & less effective. Around 1968 they started using the live-attenuated vaccine. This was about 90 % effective. Then in late 1980's a second or booster dose was recommended which made it 97-98% effective. One of our most effective vaccines. If you don't know, just get a dose of the vaccine & boost your immunity.

It's official. The office is now closed. Copies of your medical chart will be made available starting the 2nd week in April and we will call when they are ready. You can leave a message on the answering machine or email any non medical questions and final refill requests. Or for refills, contact your pharmacy and they will send your request. I can not provide any urgent medical care.

As a reminder, Premier Health in Hamburg has agreed to accept all of my patients (unless you have Horizon NJ Healthcare as your insurance) and can be reached at 973-290-1550.

Thank you everyone for a wonderful 33 years and you will be thought about and missed.

In case you haven't heard, Quality Family Practice will be closing permanently on April 5th of 2023. Dr. Saradarian is retiring & looking forward to spending time traveling with her husband & more time on hobbies.
