A home health aide is a healthcare worker who provides personal care and assistance with daily living activities to individuals in their homes, helping them manage chronic illnesses, disabilities, or the effects of aging.

In Florida, a home health aide must complete a minimum of 75 hours of training, including 16 hours of clinical training, or successfully pass a competency evaluation.
