On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm, MS0074P - James Foster Chapter DAR helped Lakeland Place Memorial Park to remember and honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

GARDEN SPOTLIGHT: Garden of the Father
In John 15:1, Jesus says, "I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener." Our Garden of the Father rests on the right side of our Trinity gardens and features both upright and flat headstones. This beautiful section is one of our most popular, and families choosing cremation have placement options in this garden as well as our community columbarium in the center of our Trinity gardens. You will never find a more hardworking memorial park manager than our very own Tony Gilmer. For over twenty-two years, Tony has served as a funeral director for Ott & Lee Funeral Homes. In December of 2022, he was promoted to manager of Lakeland Place Memorial Park. Tony dedicates himself to serving families and providing them with the best services at both Ott & Lee and Lakeland Place. Thank you, Tony, for all you do!
