What a great adventure we had for National Assisted Living Week! This year's theme was Ageless Adventure and boy was it! We got our luau on for Hawaiian Day, we wore our capes and dressed in our true form as Superhero's, and we were the Tackiest Tourists with the help from the Coffea Bus!!

Thank you to our Assisted Living Staff! Nurses, Nurses Aids, CNA's, Dietary Staff, Environmental Services, Activities, Front Desk, Department Heads, and Administration for all of your hard work and dedication in making Bethany Meadows a happy and heartwarming home.

August Employee of the Month goes to Alexa O'Donnell!

Alexa shows great leadership skills and is often the one staff will go to in the evening when they have questions. She always has a positive attitude, is willing to be flexible with her schedule and helps all around Meadows during her shift. With Alexa's knowledge and experience she often helps train both nurse aides and med aides. She has the knack at being calm and compassionate with our memory care residents. Thank you Alexa for every thing you do for our residents and staff!

July's Employee of the Month goes to Erin Gerhke!

Erin works very hard to encourage positivity among residents and staff. She has been seen encouraging residents to participate in activities and goes the extra mile by doing the activities with the residents. Erin's extra energy not only encourages extra participation but brings a log of smiles and laughter from our residents. Those who may want to participate in exercise will start moving with the extra motivation. Erin is also in tune with residents needs and brings a sense of calm to situations that could easily become tense. Her caring attitude and relaxed demeanor sets a lot of residents up for having a positive day. Thank you Erin for all your hard work and uplifting energy.

June's Employee of the Month goes to Kelsi!

Kelsi has shown tremendous growth in her nurse aide skills and has recently obtained her med aide certification. She is very kind, compassionate and helpful. Kelsi is always lending a helping hand and greets everyone with a smile. We have received numerous compliments from both residents and family members about the wonderful care Kelsi provides. Congratulations to Kaitlyn Ochs on passing her LPN boards!!!!! Kaitlyn has been a Bethany employee for 5 years now. She is a CNA and med aide but will be transitioning into her nursing role. Kaitlyn will our evening nurse supervisor. Way to go Kaitlyn!

May's Employee of the Month goes to Kara Bork!

Kara has been a wonderful addition to our team. She loves to clean and stay busy with projects given to her. She is always willing to help wash dishes, serve meals and help when the delivery truck comes in. Kara is a true team player who brings a positive attitude and she's fun to work with!
