Carney Family Dentistry is a family owned dental practice that has been in the Brandon area for over 30 years. Doctors Daniel and Timothy Carney completed their dental school education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Both doctors also completed an additional year of hospital based General Practice Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Both doctors are well versed and highly skilled in all areas of General Dentistry. From teeth whitening, cosmetic restorations and crowns to root canals, extractions and dental implants, we offer a variety of treatment options to meet your dental needs. Here at Carney Family Dentistry, we strive to have a close, personal relationship with patients and treat patients the way that we would want to be treated. Cosmetic Dentistry on a budget!!
The patient hasn’t liked her front two teeth and admits she has not felt confident in her smile in quite a while. She could not afford Veneers or other costly cosmetic restorations, so Dr. Daniel Carney improvised. For a fraction of the cost utilizing composite materials, this patient got her confidence back!! She wanted to keep the diastema (space between the teeth) because it reminded her of her father. These are some of our favorite cases!!

Big shout out to these 3 on National Receptionists’ Day!! Lindsey (left) joined our team 2 months ago and has exceeded our expectations and the patients love her. Debbie (middle) is the heart and soul of our office and makes the practice run. She’s also married to Dr. Tim Carney and the mother of Dr. Daniel Carney!! Payten (right) has become a jack of all trades. She started in our front office, but has transitioned to an assistant role and turns out, she’s a darn good assistant!! Our practice would not be what it is without these fantastic ladies!!

For Dental Hygienist week, we’d like to give a huge shout out to our own dental hygienist, Kerri!! This June will mark 23 years with Carney Family Dentistry. Not only has she been a loyal employee that’s vital to this practice, she’s been a part of the family for almost a quarter century!! We love you Kerri!!

We had two special visitors today!! Jo and her sweet baby Eden stopped by for an awesome surprise!! We sure do miss Jo but are so happy she and her sweet baby are doing well.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of those that lost their lives yesterday on board the AirCare helicopter. Medical care professional dedicate their lives to helping others and putting others first. It is a selfless job that is often overlooked. Our hearts go out to the families.

We would like to take a moment and recognize the ladies that make this practice special!! There is only one week a year dedicated to recognizing dental assistants, but they work hard year round and we could not ask for a better group. Yes, we know Kerri is our hygienist but she will jump in a treatment room in a heartbeat to help when it’s needed. Could not ask for a better group!!
