Halloween can be exciting AND overwhelming. For some of our kids, preparing ahead of time can be good for the nervous system increase the fun for the night.

One of the most common questions families ask is how to start the (sometimes difficult) conversation about body changes with their kids.

📚 Puberty is Gross But Also Really Awesome is one of our favorite book to suggest on the topic. It’s inclusive, science-based (with sources!), and written in a way that pre-teens can really understand. It covers a wide range of topics and makes it easier to open up those important (and sometimes awkward) conversations as a family.
