The residents enjoyed a Crusin on the Rez (scenic ride), fun activities and Courtyard conversations. What an exciting way to wind down a full week of fun! 🤩

A lot was happening today at Castlewoods Place, for residents and staff! Today’s theme for National Assisted Living Week was Pajama Day.

To show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication to our community, the staff was treated to omelets and pancakes this morning. This afternoon they were treated to chair massages from Therapeutic Connections. We ended the afternoon with chocolate milkshakes, because it’s also National Chocolate Milkshake Day! 🥤

Today’s theme for National Assisted Living Week was Patriotic; which coincides with the tragic events of 9/11, that occurred 24 years ago today, and unites us all in a day of remembrance… 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 We will Never forget!!🙏

Today was also “Cruise” day; and we enjoyed a virtual trip to Portugal along with a sample of a few snacks you would find there. 🛳️🇵🇹🛂🍮🥐🍬

Yesterday was a real blast at our Halftime Health Clinic.
Huge thanks to Lindsay and Janell from Traditions Health for making sure our residents are still in great health and to Kristy and Bri from our Connections Care Partners for weighing in on the fun. After getting a clean bill of health, our residents enjoyed homemade ice cream and snow balls courtesy of The Flying Dollys on the Rez - because, priorities.
And because no tailgate party is complete without gifts, our lucky winners scored some awesome beauty products and goodies donated by Keep Jackson Beautiful. All in all, our residents are having an absolute blast this week!

It was Spirit Day for today’s theme for National Assisted Living Week. 🏈 We decided to combine it with our New Resident Social and have us a little “Tailgate” fun! Thank you, Bryan, our Maintenance Director, for making us the delicious wings, and to the ladies from Visiting Angels-Jackson MS, Gentiva Hospice, VitalCaring Group and HomeWell Care Services, for providing the tailgate treats and helping show our community some love. 🥰 We also want to thank Mickey Hampton, for providing the music. 🎶🎸🎤
