Think of allergy receptors like parking spots.

Pollen pulls in and parks → your body releases histamine → hello congestion (and sneezing, runny nose, itching… you know what I’m talking about).

Antihistamines can’t work until that parking spot is free. Cue the tow truck. 🚛 Once the medicine parks there, pollen can’t attach — and your symptoms start to calm down.

But medication isn’t the only tool. Physically removing pollen from your skin and rinsing your sinuses can significantly reduce symptoms. Less trigger = less response.

Understanding what’s happening inside your body makes it easier to manage what you’re feeling outside.

If your allergies are winning right now, let’s talk.
More than care, we’re your health partner 💛

I was asked a question today that I was not prepared for…
“Any updates on Sarah?” 🌱😅 Apparently this is now a series!

Sarah is thriving: New leaves, new support, and new plant friend..... questionable plant light settings. If you speak plant, please drop your wisdom below!
Next chapter: Moving with us to the new Brandon office and getting a natural light upgrade.

Growth takes time, patience, and sometimes asking for help.
More updates coming soon 💛

Today’s work was about creating space for healing. 💚

I spent the day at Hope for Her in Brandon, volunteering alongside an incredible group to refresh the Hope Garden, a space designed for healing, reflection, and connection. We cleared old mulch, planted flowers to attract butterflies, added decorative stonework, and painted rocks that will live throughout the garden.

Huge credit to Lily, a local student leading this project with so much heart. A butterfly mural is still to come, and the vision for this space continues to grow, including hopes for a bird bath to make it even more welcoming.

At Papaya, we believe health is deeply connected to environment, community, and feeling supported — and this garden reflects exactly that.

If you’d like to support Lily’s project, Hope for Her is accepting donations for the garden and small kitchen appliances that help women rebuild and move forward. Every little bit truly makes a difference.
