Shoreline Vets and Snuggles for Shoreline Seniors Joined Forces for a Heartwarming Holiday Event at The Orchard House Adult Day Program in Branford

A Dual Celebration of Community Generosity

Shoreline Vets, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans in shoreline communities, will once again recognize seven local heroes with financial gifts intended to ease the burdens of aging, healthcare needs, and rising costs of living. The $20,000 in awards reflects the organization’s continued commitment to honoring military service through direct, meaningful support.

At the same time, Snuggles for Shoreline Seniors will help spread holiday comfort by distributing blankets to Orchard House seniors. This heartwarming initiative has experienced rapid community growth, collecting 325 blankets in 2024 — a 62.5% increase over their goal and a 153% increase over their first year, according to their published impact data
