Made up of athletes in grades 1-8, cheerleaders foster town pride and display an attitude that promotes teamwork and respect within our community. The group’s mission statement is “to support as many athletic events as possible and promote a positive game-day atmosphere for Branford Youth athletes with a sense of enthusiasm, pride, teamwork, and integrity”

You’ll be seeing a lot more of our Cheerleaders around Branford this summer supporting the community and hold various fundraisers!

📣 We’re Looking for Board Members! 📣

Our youth cheerleading program is looking for dedicated, positive volunteers to join our board! This is a great opportunity to support our athletes, give back to the community, and help shape a fun and successful season.

Board positions help with organization, planning, fundraising, and overall support of the program. No prior board experience is required—just a willingness to help and be part of a team!

And that's a wrap to the 2025 cheer season! BYC had one of the best years yet. These athletes worked hard and gave it their all at each and every one of their competitions! What is most exciting is that we took not 1 team, but 3 teams to Nationals and each of these teams crushed it!! D12 is 3rd in the nation, D14 is 5th in the nation, and D16 took home National Champs!! Our D8 and D10 teams also shined all season long with amazing performances and so much spirit every time they hit the mat. We couldn’t be prouder of how every athlete represented BYC this year. We are looking forward to what the 2026 cheer season brings ❤️❤️
