Today we celebrated Peggy’s 98th Birthday, her family joined us for a lovely party on our back patio. Music, laughter, and an amazing cake made by our talented Chef Heather was enjoyed by all. We even had lemon aroma bubbles popping all over adding to the smiles shared.

Yesterday we celebrated the 55th Wedding Anniversary of Bob and Donna. They have been a part of our family here at Branford going on 5 years and Bob’s loving wife has been visiting him almost every day over the years. Donna has helped our community with creative ideas and programs since their first day with us.

We delighted them with a surprised candlelight lunch, complete with delicious food and dessert made by our brilliant culinary team. Love, Laughter, and Italian love songs filled the room and we are so excited we got to help make this day special for them. We even helped Bob surprise his wife with a bouquet of roses and a sweet card.

We love to honor yesterday, and celebrate today here at Artis Senior Living of Branford.

Yesterday, Scarlet the miniature pony trotted right into our hearts! 🥰 Our neighbors lit up with joy as they brushed her silky mane, offered her tasty treats, and wrapped her in gentle hugs. The pure delight on everyone’s faces reminded us how special these moments truly are.

We’re so grateful for this wonderful visit and can’t wait for more magical mornings like this one!

✨ We’ve been loving these beautiful days outdoors and the joy of rediscovering old passions. Our neighbor, Priscilla, mentioned she hadn’t picked up her knitting needles in years. With a little encouragement from our Director of Life Enrichment—and a basket of yarn—Priscilla was soon knitting away again… and hasn’t stopped since! 🧶💜

Moments like this remind us why we’re so passionate about what we do: taking those extra steps to honor yesterday and celebrate today with each of our neighbors. And seeing the joy it brings to families makes it all the more meaningful. 💕

Friday night we held our August Friends & Family Event, we spent the entire day in Vegas from Life Size Slot Machines, margaritas, casino stories, card games, and our special guest Illusionist Josh Farley who has been on Penn & Teller, the CW and tours across the country! Magic and laughter filled our building and we are so excited to host more events like this one!
