🧡Y’all see me post & share the fun I’m curating with SUP & Sister Circle…& all of it is real….choosing JOY in the midst of hardship.

💛All of this while we are still navigating a difficult time of life with Bo’s health

{I first put “season” rather than “time” but this has lingered way longer than simply a “season”}🤪

💚For those of you that still check in, THANK YOU 🙏🏼 It helps us know we aren’t forgotten.

🩵Bo is still walking the healing path & taking the dips as they come, then we adjust & take the next step….he’s a true warrior {sometimes so much so that he tries to sheild me from his struggle…but I am his sheild maiden so I walk alongside him} 🛡️

💙He has improved since discovering Alpha Gal {in March} & making the diet changes.

Everyone’s response is different so I know many of you simply had to change your diet & move on….
this has not been our reality.

AGS has impacted his hormones & mental health in a major way {likely the cause of the heart attack as well}
& that is why he hasn’t been able to be back at Victory yet.

🤟🏼He DOES intend to return to & he looks forward to it. We simply don’t know exactly when yet.🤟🏼

❤️In the meantime, I am birthing The Healing Studio at Victory Chiro.

I share this update as many of you have been following our story & I may share more soon….

But for now, know that we deeply appreciate your love & understanding while Dr Bo takes more time & space to heal.

We started working with a wonderful NP that does functional medicine…rather than just writing a script to mask a symptom, she recommended more testing.

A couple weeks ago, he was diagnosed with Alpha Gal Syndrome (AGS) {much to our shock & dismay}.

The gut issues, heart attack, and mental challenges {anxiety, depression} are directly linked to AGS.

Cardiovascular issues from AGS are being called the “silent immune response.”

It explains why each time (4 last year) he was hospitalized, he came out feeling worse & the anxiety increased. Each time, they gave him IV heparin (from pigs).

I’ll likely share more as we go along to help shed light on this “allergy/syndrome.”

In the meantime, we are thankful for answers so he can continue down the path of greater health & healing.

🤟🏼He plans to be at Victory Chiropractic as he is able.🤟🏼
