🌟Hello again, and happy new year!🌟
After closing our location in Eureka Springs, we have reopened our store, The Essential Oil Shoppe, in historic downtown Branson MO (@ 116 1/2 S Commericial St). This location has provided us with not only a storefront but a professional facility space where we can hand make our organic essential oil based products (CBD/healing balms, herbal teas, soaps, bathbombs, incense).

All of what we offer in our storefront we are intending to wholesale under our business name, Plant Spirit Apothecary, LLC. We are currently looking for more wholesale accounts to sell our products.

What’s growing in your garden? I am sharing a few pics of my 3rd year herb garden. When we moved to the top of a dry rocky ridge this area was overrun by a type of invasive herb in the honeysuckle family. The first year was spent removing it and bringing in compost. The 2nd year we hooked up to the community well and got water on our land, so we hauled in more compost, soil, manure and made lasagna beds. We also had to cut back the oak tree limbs that were shading the garden. We established medicinal perennial herbs, culinary herbs, natives, medicinal “weeds”, raspberries, elderberries, strawberries, black currants, & muscadine grapes. We also added in clovers and vetch for green manures. Here we are at year 3, a thriving & almost self maintaining garden. This garden brings me so much joy & healing 💚💚💚

This is the product that launched our entire business in 2012. My husband Brad, was working as a stone mason and his hands were always cracked. He was buying a container of badger balm weekly from the local health food store. Badger had started their business years ago in the kitchen on their farm. This gave me a great idea! We had moved to a farm, planted a medicinal herb garden and I loved to wild craft, so I went about formulating a healing balm for Brad’s hands. I harvested the Ashwagandha yesterday. Today I am snipping up the root to dry for tea blends that I am preparing for the Winter to store in my new kitchen apothecary. Ashwagandha is one of my favorite adaptogenic herbs to use for boosting the immune system, as an anti inflammatory, to increase vitality, muscle strength and memory and for its calming effects.
