BRATTLEBORO PRIMARY CARE
NO SHOW POLICY REMINDER

We are sending out this reminder due to the increased number of No-Shows we have been having for scheduled appointments.

An appointment No-Show is when a patient either doesn’t show up for an appointment or calls the day of that appointment to cancel, not allowing us enough time to fill that spot with a patient who has been waiting to be seen. The only exception is inclement weather, an emergency or an unforeseeable circumstance which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Our goal here at Brattleboro Primary Care is to provide our patients with the best care possible. When one of our patients misses their appointment it not only hinders our ability to provide our patients with the best care, but it also limits the possibility for us to offer that care to someone else, by blocking that scheduled time.

If you cannot make your appointment, we ask that you please call our office 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule, or as soon as feasibly possible in the event of an unforeseen circumstance.

Our policy states that if a patient misses 3 appointments in a 12-month period, we may have to take action to terminate that patient from our practice.

DUE TO THE FIRE DOWNTOWN, ALL BRATTLEOBOR PRIMARY CARE PHONE SYSTEMS ARE DOWN/NOT WORKING, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO RECIEVE OR MAKE ANY CALLS.

AS ALWAYS FOR EMERGENCIES, PLEASE CALL 911.

CDC's Respiratory Virus Guidance provides practical recommendations and information to help people lower health risks posed by a range of common respiratory viral illnesses, including COVID-19, flu, and RSV.

Each year, respiratory viruses are responsible for millions of illnesses and thousands of hospitalizations and deaths in the United States. In addition to the virus that causes COVID-19, there are many other types of respiratory viruses, including flu and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The good news is there are actions you can take to help protect yourself and others from health risks caused by respiratory viruses.
