Hello! If you have not met me, my name is Stacy and I am the teacher of 78 days of Tarot. I have been reading Tarot cards since 1995 and teaching Tarot since the early 2000's. Growing up, not much came naturally to me. I was klutzy. I couldn't play sports or music. Stick figures were the extent of my artistic skill. I felt like I was not really good at much of anything. I was gifted my first deck of Tarot cards from my adopted big sister, Michelle. And in a way that nothing else ever had, Tarot just made sense to me. The imagery spoke clearly to me. I started to practice with friends of mine, and before I knew it, I was reading cards for everyone. I would go through the dorm in college and knock on doors, reading cards for a dollar til I made enough money to go out for dinner with a friend. I don't quite remember learning to read cards in some ways, I only remember reading cards. It was like the world knew I was supposed to be a Tarot card reader, and I was just trying to catch up.
In 1998, I wrote my first Tarot book for a friend. It was tied together with ribbons and safety pins, and I colored pictures for each card. I wanted to share the Magic of Tarot almost as much as I wanted to read cards. I wanted other people to see the cards like I did. In 2003, I taught my first Tarot class to a group of teenagers at a drop in center in Brattleboro, VT that I worked at. I was convinced that the kids would understand Tarot, and would be able to provide each other with insight and enchantment using a deck of cards. It turned out.. I was right. In 2007, I taught my first formal Tarot class of adults at a shop in town called Kindred Spirits Emporium. It was a small group, and we sat on the floor of the shop after hours, shuffling cards and telling each other's fortune. I taught several classes in person after that. In 2013, I started to teach Tarot regularly. For a while, I taught in person, and then I shifted to online teaching. I have been teaching Tarot constantly since then, and I absolutely love what I do. In 2014, I partnered up with Margaret Shipman to begin the process of the creation of The Wayfarer Tarot deck and guidebook. Though The Wayfarer Tarot is my favorite deck to work with, I teach on everything from Rider Waite/Pamela Colman Smith to any deck that you are working with that inspires you. Understanding the language of pictures is my skill, and I am happy to unweave the imagery of any Tarot deck.
The story of Tarot is ongoing for me; and every time I teach 78 days, I jump into a powerful story of Magic and Oracles. It is a world that I choose to live in, surrounded by colorful characters and energy. Part of that energy is always the people who join me on this journey. If you are meant to be with me, let's talk. I can work with ANY payment plan that will make it possible for you. If you propose a plan to me, I am 99 percent likely to agree. If you are meant to be with us on this journey, I will do anything I can to make sure that happens.
