*SIGH* Please don't be this person 🙄 Our door states "please no dumping" & we mean it! We don't accept car seat donations due to lack of space anyway, but someone left a big one outside of our door in the pouring rain without consulting a volunteer. Now it's filthy & heading to the landfill. Please consider everyone you affect other than yourself before doing something like this. We cannot have trash in front of our door as it risks us losing our space, reflects poorly on the closet as a whole & frustrates our volunteers who pour their *unpaid* time into finding homes for donations. Before you bring something to us to donate, ask yourself: "Does The Village Closet even accept this? Am I just sending this through more hands to avoid bringing it to the dump myself?" Thank you!

We are bursting with toy donations! Stop by tomorrow (Sat) 3/21 from 10-noon or Wednesdays 1-3 PM to grab one of our bunnies, peeps or toys to include in your kiddo’s Easter basket this year 🐣
🧸 We have lots of awesome other friends in our stuffed animal bins
🧑‍🍳 Some great play kitchen gear was dropped off recently
👗 Easter dresses are on display
👚 All our clothing bins are full & we’re ready to see you!

🚲 We have a baby bike, baby swing seat & diaper pail (see pic 5)

Stop in to shop our community’s FREE children’s closet this week at 60 Austine Dr. Brattleboro, VT 05301 We’re open tomorrow (Wed 3/4) from 1-3 PM & Sat 3/7 from 10 AM-12 PM! Things to note:

👚 It’s rare for us to have ALL clothing bins bursting with goodies, but every size from preemie-teen (+ pregnancy clothes) are accounted for (see pics) We don’t gender the clothing bins, but insider info: someone dropped off a TON of baby boy clothes recently if you’re looking 💙
🐰We have some stuffed animal bunnies in wonderful condition for Easter baskets!
📕 Tons of great kids books, workbooks, coloring books & lesson plans for teachers or homeschoolers
🧥 Lots of amazing winter gear, hats, mittens, jackets, etc on our coat rack as well as some great knitwear on display
📦 A few breast pumps new in their boxes
👟 Lots of shoes! Winter boots, shoes for new walkers, etc

BFD has a Toys for Tots drop off location if anyone is looking to give a little more this season 💛

🚒🎁 Look what just rolled into town… The Fire Department has officially become one of Santa’s newest satellite offices! 🎅🔥

A Toys for Tots drop-off box is waiting for anyone who wants to spread a little extra cheer this season. If you’re out and about, swing by Central Station, say hi to our members, and drop off a new unwrapped toy!

Let’s help make some holiday magic happen for local kids! ✨

Sharing some bigger items we’d love picked up whenever possible! We don’t really have space to store these & maintain room for our shoppers. Some items are pictured & some not, but we have:
-2 pack n plays
-1 tummy time gym
-1 stroller
-1 diaper pail (Ubbi)
-1 baby seat (Hopscotch)
-1 potty seat/step stool combo
-1 tricycle
-1 high chair (collapsible- in 3 parts)
