π Wanted to give folks a gentle reminder from our tiny team of volunteers who run The Village Closetβ¦ PLEASE do not dump in front of our door. We could lose our space! Always come inside the closet to meet the volunteer & tell them exactly what youβre donating. If you donβt know what we take, our donation guidelines are pictured in the last photo of this post, on the wall inside of the closet & are always on our website.
Additionally, we are so grateful you consider us before sending items to the landfill, but The Village Closet is a vital community resource, not a dump! If your items are soiled, damaged beyond repair, missing parts, etc. we just cannot accept them. We do not have an area to wash your donations (we wish! π) We understand that everyone is just doing their best, but please consider the condition of your items before bringing them to us.
This all being said, we have MANY items we donβt usually accept that we now need to find homes for so our shoppers have space to walk around! We currently we have (updated 10/22):
-3 baby baths
If you or someone you know could use any of these items, please come see us this Wed 1-3 PM or Sat 10 AM-12 PM!
π We have tons of Halloween costumes for your kids!
βοΈ Our winter gear is out! Lots of jackets, boots, etc.
π€° Pregnancy clothes, postpartum care & much more!
See you soon & thank you for reading!
