Relationship is a practice. Just like music is a practice. This cello is beautiful on the wall here but it is meant to be played. I take it down daily and practice. Sometimes I sound great. Sometimes, not so much. Relationships give us the opportunity to practice being our best self moment to moment to moment. Never stop courting your best self through how you love. A relationship (just like an instrument) is not simply an object to be attained but a vessel for a deeper song that is just waiting to be played.
