Stockist spotlight: in Conway, NH. We stopped in to visit our longtime (eleven years!) partner this weekend on the way to ski at the blissfully independent Black Mountain Ski Area. We were greeted with beautiful displays of holiday gift ideas, local goodies, top-notch wares, and So.Many.Options. We were kids in a candy store and the excitement of checking out all of the fun items for sale was well worth the drive. We are grateful to be featured on their shelves and for the continued support we have from The Local Grocer and its patrons. Happy Halloween! We went trick or treating down to Boston today to pick up another six months worth of packaging material from the amazing . On the way back to Vermont we had the opportunity to stop in to make an in person delivery to the wonderful in historic Concord, Massachusetts. It was great to see our buyer (Barbara) in person face to face and chat some business and a little small talk. We are so very grateful to be partners with Verrill Farm for eight going on nine years now! To have our energy bars sold in this sort of direct working relationship between independent producer and retailer is what we think it is all about. Thanks to you all who choose to shop regularly at independent food retailers, farm stores, and co-ops… we are keeping the dream alive and well …

This is a great time of year to get outside on an adventure. Foliage season in Vermont on world class mountain biking in East Burke leaves us grateful and energized to take on whatever comes next. Hope to see you out on the trails (promise we’ll bring the snacks!).

Stockist appreciation post. We’ve been working with for years, but a recent drop in reminded us of how much we love this farm stand. Mark has built a beautiful building to house CSA share pick up, a full range of meats (well labeled and organized), eggs, local specialty food, and a commercial kitchen where he handles and processes all of his own meat grown on the farm in Keene, NH. Impressive. Consider for your next stop…. It won’t disappoint.
