Every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. experiences a stroke—and it can happen anywhere. That’s why recognizing the warning signs and acting quickly is so important.

Remember B.E. F.A.S.T.—the signs of a stroke:
-Balance Unsteady
-Eyesight Changes
-Face Drooping
-Arm Weakness
-Speech Difficulty
-Time to call 911

The sooner a stroke is treated, the better the chances for recovery. Patients who receive clot-busting medication or stent procedures within the first critical minutes are three times more likely to recover with little or no disability.

Stroke is largely treatable—but only if we act fast. Learn the signs, share the knowledge, and be prepared.

At National, we know that proper hand hygiene is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to protect health — especially for seniors, who are more vulnerable to preventable illnesses like respiratory infections and gastrointestinal diseases.

Handwashing with soap not only prevents the spread of illness but also supports overall well-being and safety for our residents. One small action can make a big difference in keeping our communities healthy.

Clean hands, healthy future!
