• Caprese Salad •

Have extra tomatoes on hand and don’t know what to do with them? This is your answer.

Tomatoes: Great source of all the major vitamins: A,C, B6, and potassium to name a few.

Fresh Mozzarella: Unlike most cheeses does not contain all of the major preservatives. Roughly 5 gm protein per ounce and a great source of calcium.

Basil: High antioxidant content. An easy way to season your food without adding sodium.

Olive oil: great source of healthy fat. High levels of mono-unsaturated fatty acids

Balsamic: adds sweetness and acidity without adding sugar and salt.

This is a balanced meal or can be a great appetizer to any Italian dish.

Hi! My name is Annie and I have been an RDN for 9 years. I received my bachelors degree in Nutrition from Cal Poly SLO, completed my dietetic internship at Cal Poly Pomona, and have a masters degree in Nutrition from Arizona State University. I am also a board certified specialist in renal nutrition(kidney disease) 🫘

I grew up in the farming community of Brawley, CA and am passionate about helping the CA communities live healthier lives.

Meet the Team🍓🥬🌽

Hi! My name is Dani and I’ve been an RDN for 3 years. My initial interest in nutrition was sparked from growing up in a farming town. One of my favorite memories as a teenager is selling my dads produce at the local farmers market with my sisters! Now I consider myself lucky to call myself 1 of 3 dietitians in my family. I received my bachelors degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and completed my dietetic internship and Masters degree at Fran U in Baton Rouge, LA.

Alright guys, I know it’s been a hot minute but I’m back!

A LOT has happened over these past few months!!! I took a promotion at my 9-5, had a baby, went on vacation with the family, and spent a lot of time with my kids🦖

This is me with my new guy Trevor, born on July 1st💙 and yup, this makes me a mom to 3 wild boys!!!💙💙💙

Have you been busy over these last couple months? Any major life changes that have caused a drastic shift in your weight or health?

It’s time for me to get back on track and I invite you to join along. Thanksgiving is only 96 days and 13 weeks away. If you follow my SIMPLE rules you should lose 1-2 POUNDS per week. This means you would be 13-26 pounds LIGHTER by Thanksgiving🦃

Now I don’t know about you but I would feel much more confident if I were 13 pounds lighter. If your looking to feel more confident, get back into your favorite pair of jeans, improve your complexion, or simply implement healthier habits to be a role model for your family and friends…. Tomorrow is Hunter’s first day of school and idk who is more nervous... Me or him!?!?!? The past 2.5 years we have been so lucky to have the best day care and babysitter who makes my kids the MOST amazing lunches. Naturally, one of the things I was MOST worried about with Hunter starting school was making sure he had a good lunch that promotes learning in an overly active kid! 🤪

2020 and 2021 have surfaced a lot of fears for me. Starting my own business was hard, taking a promotion at my full time job was hard, working from home while having COVID and my kids with me full time was hard, and making the decision to start preschool was hard. But you know what? In the end all of these HARD decisions and working through HARD situations has made me a stronger person and better mom in the long run.

I read something on social media the other day that stated that there are always 2 types of hard and you need to choose your hard. I don’t think this could be anymore true. Losing weight is hard, but being unhealthy and unhappy is also hard. You choose which hard is more tolerable!

During my 12 week weight loss program I take the guesswork out of making the choices that will help you lose weight, keep it off, and gain your confidence back. What do you have to lose ( besides the weight)?
