Stem cell therapy is an innovative treatment designed to help repair and regenerate damaged corneal tissue. A specialized lens containing amniotic membrane acts as a delivery system, holding stem cells or stem cell–derived material directly against the surface of the eye to promote healing. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brazil, IN. As a Front Office Coordinator, your responsibilities will include managing receptionist duties, scheduling patient appointments on several platforms, answering and triaging phone calls with professional etiquette, addressing patient inquiries, & filing both optical and medical insurance plans. You will also assist with general office administration to ensure a seamless experience for patients and staff.
Familiarity with medical or healthcare environments is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office or healthcare administration are advantageous.

For many, a new year brings new medical & vision plans and possible changes in eligibility. Double check your plan coverage before scheduling so there are no unexpected surprises. Always bring your medical insurance card with you to your appointment & notify us of changes to your vision plan in advance. We file medical insurance for many reasons, such as diabetic eye exams & appointments not related to vision like being seen for watery eyes or styes.
If you're unsure of coverage, call the number on your card or talk with your HR department.

With heat in our homes & autos, more time indoors & for some that means more time on digital devices, these conditions lead to an increase in dry eye symptoms.

Seeing flashes of light in your vision is never something to ignore. While sometimes harmless, such as during a migraine, other times these may signal a vitreous detachment or a retinal detachment. Vitreous detachments are common and occur in people usually over the age of 50. Sometimes during a vitreous detachment, hemorrhage can occur as well as damage to the macula & retina. The most serious cause of seeing flashes of light is a retinal detachment. If this occurs, time is of the essence in order to prevent permanent vision loss.
If you begin to see flashes of light, especially those accompanying a sudden onset of floaters & sudden change of vision, call our office immediately. ☎️ 812-443-0060
