Stroke recovery starts the moment your loved one comes home.

The first days can feel overwhelming, but small steps matter. Safe routines, daily movement, medication reminders, and close attention to changes in condition can help prevent setbacks and support healing.

At Elder’s Journey Home Care, we’re here to help families create a safer, more supported path to recovery at home—so no one has to do it alone.

We need your help — your voice matters!
SB 275 will be heard next Wednesday in the House Ways and Means Committee, which contains language that would remove protections against rate cuts to home health agencies. This clearly indicates that FSSA intends to reduce Home Health rates very soon after the bill's passage. FSSA has already expressed frustration with the overhead component of the Home Health fee schedule, which will likely be the first target.
It only takes a few clicks:

With ongoing Pathways issues and MCE challenges, now is the time to act. Please take a moment to contact your elected officials and urge them to oppose this language.
Let's show the General Assembly how critical home health services truly are. Please share this with employees, families, and supporters.
Thank you for standing up for home health.

Dangerously cold weather is here ❄️
During extreme temperatures, our seniors are especially vulnerable—particularly those who are homebound. If you’re able to get out safely, please take a moment to call, visit, or check in on an older friend, neighbor, or loved one.
A simple check-in can bring comfort, reassurance, and even save a life.
At Elder’s Journey Home Care, we believe no senior should feel alone—especially when the weather is at its worst. Let’s look out for one another. Stay warm. Stay safe. 💙
