We’ve seen so many smiles since introducing the OmiVista Mobii to our activity lounge, but it’s much more than just a "game." This clever mobile projector is a powerful sensory tool designed to support our residents' wellbeing.
By projecting interactive scenes onto surfaces, it helps:

🧠 Spark Memories: Reminiscence activities that bring back fond stories.

👐 Encourage Movement: Gentle physical reaching and stretching through sensory projection onto surfaces

❤️ Reduce Anxiety: Calming visual effects that provide a soothing focus.

It’s been a joy to watch our residents connect, laugh, and explore in a way that’s accessible for everyone, regardless of mobility. We’re so proud to have this "magic surface" at Towne Park. 😊😊

🐾 Pet Therapy Friday: Meet Johnny Cash! 🐾

Our hearts melted today! We hosted the legendary Johnny Cash, a 4-year-old mixed breed who is pure sweetness.
Johnny is a professional relaxer who loves to lay down anywhere he can—literally! lol! His calm energy was exactly what we needed to kick off the weekend.

Johnny Cash is looking for his forever home. He is currently available for adoption at the Clay County Humane Society.

Therapy after a hospital stay (rehabilitation) helps patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through physical, occupational, or speech therapy.
-Physical Therapy (PT): Focuses on restoring mobility, strength, balance, and coordination to prevent falls.
-Occupational Therapy (OT): Helps patients relearn daily activities, such as dressing, bathing, and grooming to live independently.
-Speech Therapy: Addresses communication, cognitive, or swallowing difficulties, commonly required after a stroke.
