Premier Ambulance recently joined Sharp Coronado Hospital for a large-scale emergency preparedness drill simulating an island evacuation due to a bridge closure.

In coordination with our partners Mercy Air, Coronado Fire, and local law enforcement, our crews worked to ensure safe, timely patient transport from hospital triage to air evacuation.

We’re especially proud of EMT/FTO Brown and Field Supervisor Thunberg, whose professionalism and attention to detail helped demonstrate the vital role EMS plays in these complex, multi-agency responses.

Each drill brings us closer to seamless readiness—and we’re grateful to Sharp for the opportunity to train together for what matters most: community building and safety.

🚁🚑 Our crews had the incredible opportunity to train alongside the Mercy Air 4 team at their Fullerton base.

This hands-on session focused on landing zone setup, aircraft safety, and what to expect during a response—taught directly by the flight crew in an up-close, small-group setting.

We’re proud to offer this kind of high-impact training in partnership with Mercy Air as part of our ongoing education efforts.

Big thanks to Mercy Air Fullerton for welcoming us and helping take our training to the next level!

Our team was honored to stand alongside Riverside Community Hospital and OneLegacy at the Donate Life flag raising ceremony—a powerful tribute to organ and tissue donors who have given the ultimate gift: life itself. Families, healthcare workers, and first responders came together to celebrate these heroes, including Nichole Heimerl, a OneLegacy Ambassador, who shared the moving story of her son, Austin Garrett Nicely, whose generosity saved and improved lives across the country.

We proudly support the mission of organ donation and the lasting impact it has on so many lives. It was especially meaningful for our Riverside-based team at Primary Ambulance to be part of this heartfelt event, standing in solidarity with the community we serve.

Yesterday, our San Diego team joined the Bernardo Heights Middle School Career Fair to spark interest in EMS careers! ⚡️🚑

We shared what it’s like to work in the field, the steps to becoming an EMT, and why we love doing what we do. The students asked some awesome questions and brought great energy!

Thanks to BHMS for the invite—and to the future healthcare heroes we met along the way!
