We want to provide more flexible learning opportunities to everyone who wants to obtain a license to legally carry a handgun in California, while maintaining the level of training expected from a traditional in-person training course.

We continually strive to provide both the highest level of instructor-led and online training to every student inside & outside of California.

Our courses are constantly updated and maintained to stay up to date with all of California’s ever-changing laws, (such as the failed unconstitutional SB-2 law).

My name is Ken ‘KC’ Clements. I am a retired Police Officer, serving more than 30-years of honorable, dedicated & devotion to duty for the citizens of California and the nation. My experience extends to essentially every aspect of the law enforcement profession.

In addition, to my patrol duties I served as a Police Department Fi****ms Tactical Instructor & Range Master tasked with qualifying 150 sworn officers every month. Fullerton College Police Academy Instructor & Tactical Officer training thousands of men & women police academy recruits. I served in several other capacities such as: Gang Officer, SWAT Team, Hostage Negotiator, Fugitive Taskforce, Vice, Special Problems Unit and Presidential Security Team for Presidents: Nixon, Ford, Reagan & Bush (this saga is very interesting).

Since retirement, I have continued training responsible men & women civilians interested in enhancing their personal safety, family protection, home defense, and concealed carry (CCW) training. I take satisfaction in sharing my tactical know-how and experience with good people in need of helpful tutoring in fi****ms safety, self-defense & street survival.

BACKGROUND
The idea for 5150 HEAT LLC Online CCW was borne by police academy instructor & police officer (Retired) who had been using the traditional method of Instructor-Led live & in-person Concealed Carry (CCW) training to successfully teach students for several years. Nevertheless, there was a constant problem with scheduling students and bending their schedules around outdated in-person training sessions.

Today 5150 HEAT LLC is affiliated with California Online CCW. California Online CCW launched an innovating CCW training curriculum the beginning of the COVID pandemic, California Online CCW launched as an online CCW renewal option in Fresno County, CA.

Since that time, they have added Initial CCW Courses as well as Non-Resident (people nationwide who want to earn their California CCW License) CCW Courses, while growing throughout the State of California, gathering excellent affiliates such as 5150 HEAT LLC to offer the same courses to responsible gunowners seeking self-protection in California and nationwide.

Steps To Get a California Concealed Carry License from Orange County Sheriff’s Department

1. CONTACT your OCSD Orange County Sheriff’s Department to verify the application process and the approved training courses.

2. COMPLETE an approved training course presented by 𝟱𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗟𝗖 or provide proof of exemption (active duty or honorably retired military, law enforcement, etc.) pursuant to California Penal Code Section 31700.

3. VERIFY with your local sheriff if your jurisdiction requires a psychological evaluation.

4. SUBMIT the application and documents as required.

5. IN-PERSON VISIT -- Do not bring any fi****ms unless instructed to do so by the county sheriff’s office. You will also need the following:
• Your training certificate

• Proof of residency

• Original birth certificate, naturalization certificate or valid U.S. passport

• California driver’s license or California Identification card
You will be fingerprinted, photographed and interviewed.

6. CHECK YOUR MAILBOX -- You will be notified by mail within 90 days if your application has been approved or denied.

The majority of home invasions in America take place between the hours of 10am and 3pm. When criminals who just want to get in and out without any trouble assume that you'll be elsewhere.

• According to the FBI, you can expect 1 in every 36 homes to be robbed each year.
• In America, 3,700,000 million homes are broken into each year.
• That's 7 homes every minute.
• Out of those 3.7 million occurrences, the DOJ reported that 1,000,000 burglaries occurred while the resident(s) were still inside the home.
• 27% of which resulted in the residents being victims of violent crime.
• The DOJ reported the use of weapons in the majority of these robberies.
• 41% of which involved fi****ms.
• 7.8% included knives or other cutting devices.
• And an additional 42.5% used "strong-arm" tactics, whether verbal or physical.

𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗻 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀,

Once again, Judge (Saint) Benitez has given us back a little more of our Constitutionally-protect Rights. It's interesting to note that (seeing what the DOJ has done in response to his prior rulings) he has not allowed the state to stay his ruling. That means that the DOJ will need to petition the 9th Circuit to counter his ruling.

Of course, the DOJ will file their stay, and the 9th Circuit will approve it. And so it goes.

But for now. We have another "Freedom Week," so get your ammo while you can!

Judge (Saint) Benitez has given us back a little more of our Constitutionally-protect Rights.

And Federal District Judge Cormac J. Carney issued a preliminary injunction in its Carralero v. Bonta lawsuit, blocking enforcement of 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗔𝗪 (ban) on firearm concealed carry. 𝗦𝗕-𝟮. Overturned Twice!

Took effect on January 1, 2024. Was found 𝙐𝙉𝙀𝙉𝙁𝙊𝙍𝘾𝙀𝘼𝘽𝙇𝙀 due to federal court injunctions. It will likely be overturned through the appeal process and be 𝘿𝙀𝙀𝙈𝙀𝘿 𝙐𝙉𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙏𝙐𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙇.

SB-2 of 2023 is the California Government's tyrannical and childish "𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚" bill which is a reaction to the Bruen Supreme Court decision.

𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙖'𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙡𝙖𝙬 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙮 𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙧𝙪𝙚𝙣, 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙘𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙙. The current California liberal, anti-self-defense governor, attorney general, and legislators don't like the Supreme Court's decision on June 23, 2022.

The bill totally ignores a direct order from the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that California’s unconstitutional SB-2 should not make the entire state "a sensitive place."

May v. Bonta appears to be the contender suit for challenging SB-2; further info regarding court cases will be posted as necessary. Two separate injunctions have been granted.

Far-left governor Newsom & Attorney General Bonta and legislators should be educated enough to appreciate that the rate at which concealed carry license holders commit crimes is extremely low, with multiple studies showing that CCW license holders are among the most law-abiding, vetted, and scrutinized citizens in California and throughout the United States.

Should you still apply for a CCW License? ABSOLUTELY. Police are far more likely to grant you leeway if you have a CCW than if you don't. Having a CCW License now is better than waiting for the positive legal challenges that are certain to come soon.

Guns can be a polarizing issue, but no matter where you stand on the spectrum of gun ownership, knowing how to use, handle, and operate a gun safely is an essential skill. Unfortunately, as gun sales continue to rise in the United States, we're ending up with more and more people who have guns but don't know how to use them effectively and responsibly.

Therefore, our simulated laser gun range was founded on providing a safe, safe, safe educational, and judgment-free facility where individuals of all skill levels could learn to shoot a gun responsibly.

A gun is just a tool and only as dangerous as the person using it. And so, we aim to teach gun safety and the proper fundamentals of handling a firearm, shooting a gun, and building the confidence necessary to be a responsible gun owner.

Learning to use a gun can be more rewarding than you think. Even if you don’t own a gun or have never held a gun in your hand, once you master the safe handling fundamentals of adequately handling and shooting a gun, your entire outlook can change.

One of the most critical aspects of our gun training classes at 5150 HEAT is that learning to shoot a gun can teach responsibility and discipline with practice. Almost anyone can learn how to shoot a firearm safely and accurately. Through our available training sessions, individuals of all skill levels can master the basics and beyond to grow their confidence and skill level.

Our workshops are small, hands-on, and interactive, and create a wide learning experience. Questions and participation are encouraged throughout the Workshop. Each topic is aimed at building confidence to learn proper gun etiquette, vocabulary and to ALWAYS practice SAFETY! Students gain useful defensive shooting information that leads to skills development. Students learn valuable handgun knowledge, and essential fi****ms fundamentals, develop intelligent defensive tactics, and establish fundamental 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗠𝗔𝗡𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 & 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗡𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 skills, to improve proficiency and determine which handgun is right for them. 𝙀𝙫𝙞𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨, 𝙞𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨.

You can’t avoid it…

I believe in being peaceful and avoiding conflict at 𝘼𝙇𝙇 𝘾𝙊𝙎𝙏𝙎, but I also know this:

𝙀𝙫𝙞𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨, 𝙞𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙨.

And as American citizens, each of us has a natural-born and inalienable right to self-protection. Recently confirmed by the 𝙎𝙐𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙀 𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙍𝙏!

Now, a gun can’t be good or bad — it’s simply a thing — a tool — a precision machine.

Case in Point: I loaded one, set it on my workbench, cocked it, and pointed it at a target… And after 24 hours the gun never fired. Not once. Never!

But when I learn that 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙖𝙬-𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙔 𝘿𝘼𝙔, it motivates me to help other people develop the skills and knowledge they need to stay safe... 𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙔 𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙑𝙀!

It pushes me to make darn sure that everyone can get access to life-saving resources like what’s included with every 𝟱𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙏 𝙇𝙇𝘾 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙮 course of training.

Learning how to safely handle a handgun when to use or not to use a handgun and gaining access to useful lifesaving resources like:
