Love our leadership team and love celebrating our interns and associate therapists even more! Our robust internship program gives therapists new to outpatient therapy, the hands-on skills needed to make a difference. But it also allows people without insurance to receive therapy at a price they can afford.

Everyone is deserving of compassionate, clinical care. Our interns and associates offer that. Their supervisors commit to support them every step of the way.

Today is a great day to donate to Wounded Warrior Project. This amazing organization cares for veterans when the rest of the world has forgotten the sacrifices that they have made. Having worked with this organization, I can attest that the money that is donated goes directly to helping veterans receive the physical accommodations and mental health assistance that they need and deserve. Veterans-thank you so much for your service!

Ten AMAZING years of CLINICAL and COMPASSIONATE care.

22 fabulous therapists.
4 phenomenal supervisors.
2 beautiful locations (with two more coming!)
1 awesome office manager.

My original intention remains the same: to offer licensed, clinical, ethical care while also paying therapists a wage that allows them to further their education, travel the world, purchase property and live their best possible lives.

What I didn't expect was growth that spanned beyond Carbon County. I also never expected to develop a powerhouse intern program that not only prepares emerging therapists for the working world but also allows for no-cost to low-cost care to those who cannot afford mental health services. It happened. And it's all good. Stay tuned for news on our client appreciation day-let's keep this celebration going!

Last year, one of my daughter's teachers advised his students to not "waste money on therapists" as long as ChatGPT was around. I will be sending him this article this week along with a letter asking him to STOP giving horrendous advice on a subject he knows nothing about.

ChatGPT will NEVER be a replacement for a live human therapist. Why? Because we actually care if you live or die. We worry about you and hope that you are ok. And we would NEVER offer options and/or instructions on how to end your life. As I have said to clients for years: "You have no right to take the life of another. And you have no right to take your own." Unlike a bot, we have a duty to keep you here.

Please talk to your children about the use of ChatGPT.

More people are turning to general-purpose chatbots for emotional support. At first, Adam Raine, 16, used ChatGPT for schoolwork, but then he started discussing plans to end his life.
