With an aging population and increase in chronic diseases worldwide, we can expect to see a massive spike of Dementia cases in the next 30 years

Projections show that global cases of dementia may triple by 2050. Aging populations, related diseases and earlier diagnosis could drive the trend.

With Washington State set to reopen on June 30th, many people are naturally excited. However, keep in mind, assisted livings, nursing homes, and other long-term care facilities are required to follow the state’s Safe Start Plan which has a different set of rules than other business. As the AARP article points out, people in long term communities are still dying from COVid. We are concerned about the safety of our residents and staff. So please, if you come for a visit, make sure you are vaccinated. And if you are experiencing any allergies or cold-like symptoms, for the potential safety of everyone, please postpone your visit for another time.
